Discover new artworks on our award-winning street art tours, led by expert guides who bring the city’s walls to life. These free tours unpack the stories, symbolism and creative processes behind each artwork, offering rare insight into the artists and their practice. You may even encounter artists painting live and see new murals taking shape in real time.

Street art workshops bring the energy of the streets into a hands-on creative experience for young people. Participants experiment with bold mark making and stencil techniques, layering colour and textures onto canvas. Guided by a practicing artist you’ll learn how to create stencil designs to cut out and paint. Gaining hands on advice on digital design editing, stencil cutting, application of aerosol, material options and techniques. Each young creative leaves with a finished street art artwork to take home.

This hands-on street art workshop introduces young people to stencil techniques and bold mark making. Sessions usually begin indoors with a short walkthrough, followed by stencil cutting (1–1.5 hours) using pre-prepared designs at A4–A3 scale.

Painting takes place outdoors in the library forecourt where possible, using spray paint for around one hour. Tables, ground setups and protective cardboard are provided.

All materials are supplied. Participants should wear clothes they’re happy to get paint on and will leave with a finished artwork to take home.
