Can I get a refund?
You can find out if your event has been cancelled or rescheduled by checking our What's On page and searching for your event. If your event has been cancelled or rescheduled, you will be entitled to a full refund - in this case, Box Office will contact you to arrange your refund or to reschedule your ticket.
If your show has not been cancelled or rescheduled, you can still receive a refund up to close of business 3 business days prior to the event date for a small fee. If you would like a refund please call or visit Box Office on 03 9784 1060 during Box Office hours.
How do I purchase a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased on our website, over the phone, or in person during Box Office hours. You can also visit our Ticket Information page to watch our video tutorial on How to buy tickets online at Frankston Arts Centre.

Where do I park?
Frankston Arts Centre has paid, underground parking, with entry from Young Street. For more detailed information on parking, visit our Parking page.
What types of Concessions do you accept?
A concession is generally a Pensioner, Senior or Full Time student. Concessions are not offered at each performance, please check before purchasing tickets. Concession holders must be prepared to present their concession card on entry to the auditorium. Visit our Ticket Information page for more details.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for my baby/toddler?
Unless otherwise indicated, everyone attending a performance requires a ticket. Visit our Ticket Information page for more details.
What time should I arrive for a performance?
The Frankston Arts Centre foyer and bar will be open from 1 hour prior to the commencement of the event or performance.
In most cases, auditorium doors open 15-20 minutes before the start of the performance.
If you arrive after the show has started, the Front of House staff will assist you into the auditorium a suitable time. In some instances, performances have a total 'lock out' once the show has commenced.
I have lost my tickets, can I still get in?
Lost tickets can be reprinted at Box Office prior to the performance, for a small fee.
Can a Full-Priced Adult use my pre-purchased Concession ticket?
The ticket can be exchanged at Box Office with payment of the price difference.
Can I take photos and videos during the performance?
As a general rule, no photography or recording of any type is permitted during performances. On occasions, the presenter of the performance may allow photography etc. If you are unsure, please check signage or ask one of our friendly Ushers for further details.
Can I take food and/or drinks into the theatre?
Non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles and dry food are the only consumables permitted in the theatre during performances.
Hot drinks, hot food or ice-creams are not allowed in the auditorium.
Alcoholic beverages in plastic may be permitted at some performances, for your convenience beverages in glass can be decanted into a plastic cup. Alcohol cannot be purchased while the performance is on. Anyone leaving the theatre to purchase alcohol will not be permitted back into the theatre.
Will it be hot/cold in the theatre?
The temperature inside most theatre venues is, if you’ll excuse the play on words, a hot topic! Frankston Arts Centre makes every effort to ensure a comfortable internal temperature for its patrons, however maintaining a consistent temperature inside such a large auditorium is a constant challenge. Patrons should feel free to report any concerns to Front of House staff who will investigate. Light layers that will allow you to adjust your outfit accordingly are recommended.
Is there a booster seat for my young child?
There are a limited number of boosters cushions available, however these are not offered at performances where the audience is predominately young children as the limited number available would not be able to accommodate the demand. For all other performances, booster cushions are issued on a first come, first served basis - please ask one of our friendly Ushers as you enter the auditorium. Booster cushions are not permitted in the Dress Circle.
What do I do with my pram/pusher?
Due to Safety and Evacuation regulations, prams and pushers are NOT permitted in the auditorium. However, we will happily store them while you attend one of our performances. Please talk to our Front of House staff for assistance.
I use a walking frame, can I get into the seating?
You may use your mobility aid to gain access to your seat. Front of House staff will then store it for you and return it at interval and the end of the show (or throughout the performance should it be required). Visit our Accessibility Information page for more details.
I use a wheelchair, where can I sit?
There are a number of wheelchair spaces available in Row J and, in most cases, you can be seated alongside your friends. Please advise the Box Office of your requirements at time of purchase. Visit our Accessibility Information page for more details.
I have a hearing loss, what can I do?
A number of Audio Assistance Receivers are available for loan (at no extra charge) to enhance your experience. Please ask Box Office on arrival or click here for further information.
Am I able to get something to eat/drink before/after the performance?
The Frankston Arts Centre bar will be open from 1 hour before the commencement of the performance and again at interval. Generally, the bar will be closed during and after the performance. Visit our Bar & Dining page for further information.
Can I pre-order snacks and drinks for interval?
Yes! If your show has an interval, you can pre-order drinks and snacks via our Hungry Hungry Online Ordering System. Skip the queue at interval and collect your order from the collection area.
