Following appearances on Sesame Street, Universal Kids, and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Mario the Maker Magician heads to Frankston.

Contagiously upbeat and full of heart, the ever-endearing Mario leads you through a romping explosion of energy and belly laughs punctuated with moments of heart and emotion that will catch you by surprise. Not "just a kids show", this is an all-ages theatre experience!

Creator and Performer, Mario "the Maker Magician" is a first-generation Italian American, New York based touring performer, author, and maker, known for his unique brand of Robot Magic. He infuses DIY electronics and robotics into his work and uses magic to inspire kids and families to make and create without limitation.

Mario has appeared on Sesame Street, NBC’s Universal Kids, HGTV, and live on tour opening for David Baline’s 2018 North American tour. Blaine calls Mario “the best kids’ magician in the world!”

Mario is also the author of two step-by-step magic books: The Maker Magician’s Handbook and Robot Magic, the latter of which boats a foreword by David Copperfield.

The 10.30am performance on Wednesday 24 September will be a Relaxed Performance. Relaxed Performances welcome audiences who would benefit from a more relaxed environment – this can include but is not limited to people with autism, sensory sensitivities, learning disabilities or dementia, as well as those living with anxiety or who have experienced trauma.

The atmosphere is non-judgmental, and we embrace noisy enthusiasm. Audience members can also bring their headphones to reduce noise if they wish.

Specifically for relaxed performances, we leave the house lights on (dimmed), the auditorium doors stay open, and some technical elements may be modified, for example, strong lighting or sound effects are moderated.
