Please note that our car park will be closed from 1.30am Saturday 30 November and will re-open Sunday 1 December at 6.30am. 

Frankston Arts Centre all day undercover car park is centrally located near Bayside, easy to access and a great place to park for local events or when visiting Playne Street venues such as Betty’s Burgers, General Public and The Hop Shop.

Avoid congestion at the exit after the show! To help us get you home sooner, please take a ticket at the car park entry and then pay at the machine after the show before heading back to your car. Drive to the exit - the boom gate will recognise your number plate and rise automatically (no need to insert/scan your ticket).

Pay stations are located on levels 1, 2 & 3 of the car park. They accept credit card*, notes and coins.

Entry

2. Enter by tapping your credit card.

Can we ask a favour? Avoid congestion at the boom gate after your event by taking your issued ticket at the car park entry to open the boom gates. Pay at a Pay Station before going back to your car to reduce the time it takes to exit. Drive to the exit - the boom gate will recognise your number plate and rise automatically (no need to insert/scan your ticket).

Exit

1. If you collected a ticket to enter, please pay the applicable parking fee at a Pay Station before collecting your vehicle. Drive to the exit - the boom gate will recognise your number plate and rise automatically (no need to insert/scan your ticket). Pay stations are located on levels 1, 2 & 3 of the car park. They accept credit card*, notes and coins.  

2. If you entered by tapping your credit card, exit by tapping the card again and taking your receipt. The boom gate will rise. Please note that this option can take up to 40 seconds to authorise your payment.

Tips to Avoid Queues

  • If entering the car park after 4pm, you can pre-pay the night rate of $6.50 at one of the Pay Stations at any time.

  • Davey Street (1 space)
  • Playne Street (2 spaces) Access the Centre foyer by lift behind the Library.
  • FAC Car Park (3 spaces on Level 3 and 2 spaces on other levels)
  • Access FAC foyer by lift on each level.

Please note: Parking bays marked RESERVED indicate that space is reserved 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless otherwise specified.

On-Street Parking (1P)

The majority of on-street parking in Frankston's city centre is one hour free parking. Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm. Some areas are marked with on-site signage where a 5,10,or 30 minute time space applies. 

On-Street Parking (2P)

Some two hour parking is available at the Kananook Creek Boulevard end of Playne Street. This is for patrons and shoppers, not traders and employees to use on a rotational basis.

Car parks

Council managed car parks have time limits ranging from one hour to all-day parking. Signs at each parking location indicate precise times and fees. 

As at 1 July 2017, Council car parking fees are $2 per hour and $6.60 all-day (subject to change). 

On-street parking (4P and All Day) 

Some four hour on-street free parking is available in Baxter Street. Free all day on-street parking us available on Plowman Place, Young Street (Beauty Park) and High Street between Young Street and Spring Street. 

Resident foreshore parking permits 

Frankston City Council residents displaying their Foreshore parking permit sticker can park free-of-charge at all Foreshore car parks however, the time limits still apply as specified on the signs. 

Nepean Highway, south of Frankston Pier

Parking along the west side (beachside) is 4P - a four hour time limit applies. A fee is also payable unless displaying a Frankston City Foreshore parking permit. Parking along the east side (hillside) is free with no time limit.

Frankston Arts Centre Car Park has a variety of flexible monthly parking options to suit your needs.
Park in a prime location that allows you to come and go as you please up to 7 days a week. With limited monthly parking spaces available, speak to our team today to secure your space.

Monthly Carpark fees
Unreserved: $103.30 (includes GST) – park in any available space.

Reserved: $167.92 (includes GST) – Allocated numbered carpark that includes reserved signage with company name.
