DialysART from the Haemodialysis Unit
Frankston Arts Centre & Peninsula Health
In partnership with Peninsula Health, Frankston Arts Centre provides art for wellbeing sessions for patients undergoing dialysis treatment in the Haemodialysis Unit at Frankston Hospital. Guided by a professional arts therapist, the patients engage in discussions about creative mental health, learn new drawing and painting techniques and explore with materials and colour. Participating in art making provides an opportunity for wellbeing and connection while fostering creativity. This exhibition showcases the art and experiences of the patient-artists taking part in the program.”
