Frankston Arts Centre offers a selected number of work experience positions throughout the year for:
  • Year 10 students
  • Vocational Major students (previously VCAL)

Students have the opportunity to observe day to day activities within the Frankston Arts Centre including:

  • Backstage/Technical assistance
  • Exhibition installations and gallery duties
  • Frankston Arts Centre Front of House - Ushering
  • Frankston Arts Centre Hospitality
  • Marketing
  • Programs and Events
  • Theatre Exhibitions

Please note, if your work experience dates coincide with performances, some evening or weekend work may be required. These opportunities are extremely popular and there are only a limited number places offered every year.

It is an OH&S requirement that students completing work experience backstage wear steel cap shoes. Students without steel cap boots may not be able to complete their work experience at Frankston Arts Centre.
