They’re back and they’re still banging on about the 70s. The greatest decade of popular music?! Really? Are we to ignore the horror of Sister Janet Mead? Wasn’t ‘Hot August Night’ really just tepid? And what of the bloodcurdling ‘Me and You and a Dog named Boo’? Scorching, disco infused celebration of the best and the worst of the 1970s.
Who better to honour this decade of mirror balls and banjo playing frogs than the Captain & Tennille of cabaret? She’s got the moves of Joe Cocker. He’s got Freddie Mercury’s teeth. She’s got the dress sense of the Bay City Rollers. He’s got the pure animal magnetism of Leo Sayer. If you’re not ready for Bohemian Rhapsody played on solo recorder you should probably keep your credit card details to yourself!
Songs include: I Feel the Earth Move, Roxanne, I Am Woman, The Streak, Live and Let Die, Jump in My Car, Love Will Keep Us Together, Tie a Yellow Ribbon, Imagine, Short People, Fat Bottomed Girls, Still Living in the Seventies and more!! Say what you like about 70’s music - it was a great era for burnt orange wallpaper.
This performance is suitable for people aged 16+ only.
