Postcards are often described as the "SMS messages" of the early 20th century, offering a quick, affordable way to send short greetings, share news, and boast of travels. Postcards captured snapshots of both the ordinary and the spectacular. Evoking memories of a golden age, they have historical value and are often the best recorded images of buildings, streetscapes, and neighbourhoods.

Do you have a historic photograph or an interesting picture of life in Frankston?

We'd love to see it! Selected images will be printed as postcards and feature in an exhibition in the FAC Atrium Gallery: Forming a community chorus of nostalgia in celebration of the city's 60th birthday.

Upload your photograph via the link above, before Wednesday 1 July for a chance to win 2 tickets to a FAC Season Show.
