Join Mick Harvey and Amanda Acevedo for a powerful tribute to the haunting music of Jackson C. Frank — the lost folk legend of the 1960s now rediscovered by new generations. Featuring songs from their new album Golden Mirrors: The Uncovered Sessions Vol. 1, this live performance breathes new life into Frank’s brooding, poetic catalogue.
A founding member of The Birthday Party and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Mick Harvey is one of Australia’s most influential musicians. Known for his collaborations with PJ Harvey, his acclaimed solo work, and his ambitious translations of Serge Gainsbourg, Harvey brings decades of artistry to the stage alongside Amanda Acevedo’s luminous vocals. His collaborator, Amanda Acevedo — a Mexican singer, filmmaker and visual artist — made a striking musical debut alongside Harvey on their 2023 album Phantasmagoria in Blue, drawing praise for her sensual, expressive vocals and atmospheric style.
In addition to Frank’s music, the duo will perform selections from their acclaimed releases Phantasmagoria in Blue and Five Ways to Say Goodbye. They’ll be joined live by Glenn Lewis (bass/guitar), Hugo Cran (drums/keys), and a string section for a richly textured night of music.
A must-see for fans of folk, noir balladry, and hidden musical gems.
