Once upon a time, in an ordinary schoolyard, one mistake changed everything. Kai was blamed for something she didn’t do, while Lindsay kept a secret she was too afraid to tell. That night, as they drifted off to sleep, both were carried into dreams filled with familiar fairytale characters—heroes, villains, and creatures with stories of their own to tell.
Through these magical dreams, Kai and Lindsay each learn lessons about truth, courage, guilt, and forgiveness. As their worlds unfold, they begin to discover that stories are rarely as simple as good and evil… and that sometimes the bravest thing of all is telling the truth.
