Donations - Climb Aboard
Next stop - the theatre...
Every child deserves to experience the magic of live theatre. But for many government school students, a simple bus ride stands between them and that transformative first moment in a theatre.

THE CHALLENGE: Why Transport Matters
Rising bus costs are preventing government schools from bringing students to Frankston Arts Centre. What seems like a simple excursion is often an impossible expense for schools with limited budgets.
For many students, the barrier isn't interest—it's access. Transport costs can exceed hundreds of dollars per visit, forcing teachers to make difficult choices about which educational experiences they can afford.
A child's postcode shouldn't determine whether they get to experience the wonder of live performance.
THE SOLUTION: How Climb Aboard Helps
The Climb Aboard campaign removes the transport barrier by funding school buses directly. Every dollar donated goes straight to getting students through our doors.
When you support Climb Aboard, you're not just funding a bus—you're opening a door to creativity, confidence, and cultural experiences that shape young lives.
THE IMPACT: What Live Theatre Does for Students
Theatre isn't just entertainment—it's education in action. When students attend live performances at Frankston Arts Centre, something remarkable happens:
They Build Confidence Experiencing professional theatre shows students what's possible. They see performers taking risks, expressing emotions, and commanding a stage. Many return to school inspired to participate in their own drama programmes or try something new.
They Ignite Creativity Live performance sparks imagination in ways screens cannot. Students witness storytelling, design, music, and movement coming together in real time. This multisensory experience opens creative pathways that influence their thinking across all subjects.
They Connect Learning to Life Theatre brings curriculum to life. Whether it's a production exploring historical events, scientific concepts, or literary classics, students see classroom learning transformed into compelling human stories they'll remember long after the curtain falls.
They Experience Something Bigger For many students, visiting Frankston Arts Centre is their first time in a professional theatre. It's a shared cultural experience that builds community, expands horizons, and creates memories that last a lifetime.
