Carolyn Cardinet and Angela Barnett

Cube 37 - Glass Cube Gallery + Art After Dark
19 January - 16 February

Free artist talk Saturday 11 February noon
Bookings: 03 9784 1060

A large scale sculptural and projection installation that comments on the effects of microplastics in the Arctic Ocean and prompts us to consider how we may be contributing to the contamination. Passionate about the alarming rate at which our environment is changing, Carolyn Cardinet creates new forms out of plastic waste. Cardinet’s sculptural pieces reflect and draw attention to the worldwide problem of mass production and senseless waste of plastic packaging. Weaving through Cardinet’s sculptural forms is Angela Barnett’s a multi-projection moving image installation depicting the breathtaking and yet sadly diminishing glaciers.

Saturday 11 February noon
Artist Talk: Carolyn and Angela discuss their sculptural-projection installation and the concerning issues  surrounding micro-plastics contaminating the arctic waters.
Free Event. Nibbles and drink on arrival.

Bookings essential. 03 9784 1060
