Big Names Keep Coming to Frankston Arts Centre
Published on 28 May 2025
If you’re looking for world-class entertainment close to home, you’ll find it at Frankston Arts Centre. As one of Victoria’s premier performance venues, we consistently attract some of the biggest names in Australian music, comedy, and theatre—and it’s all right here on your doorstep.
In 2025, we’re celebrating 30 years since first opening our doors, and thanks to you—our loyal audiences—we’ve become a cultural cornerstone of the region.
Over the past year, audiences have experienced unforgettable performances from music legends like Jimmy Barnes, Kate Miller-Heidke, Missy Higgins, Amy Shark, Vika & Linda Bull and Darly Braithwaite – along with crowd-favourites Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell. Seeing these stars return again and again shows just how much performers love playing to our audiences.
Reflecting on his recent sold-out shows, Tim Campbell said:
“Frankston had not only blown us away with the response from our audience to our recent show The Songs of Elton & George, but the team at Frankston Arts Centre were a breeze to work with… FAC will be on the list for our future tours, and we will always look forward to entertaining the brilliant FAC audiences.”
If comedy’s your thing, you’ve been treated to some of the best. Ross Noble, Urzila Carlson, Jimeoin, and Anh Do have all taken the stage—and had audiences laughing in the aisles. And for younger fans, the ever-popular Emma Memma is heading back soon to delight kids with her colourful, high-energy show.
You’ve also had the chance to witness powerful theatre and cabaret. Marina Prior and Michael Cormick wowed with their stunning vocals, while blues and roots artist Ash Grunwald filled the theatre with his raw, soulful sound.
But what makes Frankston Arts Centre truly special isn’t just the shows—it’s the connection we’ve built with you and with the artists who perform here. As Lisa Thurbon from Premier Artists puts it:
“Frankston Arts Centre is a standout venue for events… truly a first-class venue and so are the FAC Team! The entire process, from booking and promotion to ticketing are A1, and the outstanding tech support on show night is smooth and stress-free.”
John Sinclair of Sinclair Artists agrees:
“FAC has developed a strong and loyal audience base… Artists frequently comment on how welcomed and fully supported they feel during their time at the venue. It’s always a pleasure to bring shows to FAC and to work together to provide the community with outstanding experiences.”
Looking ahead to the second half of 2025, there’s even more to get excited about. Beloved singer-songwriter Kate Ceberano is coming your way, and if you love Aussie country, you won’t want to miss Kasey Chambers live on stage. Iconic storyteller John Williamson will also grace the stage for his 55 Years – My Travellin’ Days Are Done tour, while acclaimed artists Mick Harvey and Amanda Acevedo, and Clare Bowditch will bring their unique musical voices to Frankston.
Music fans can also look forward to the soaring vocals of Mirusia in her show Celebration, and a career-spanning performance by The Church on The Singles Tour: A Career Retrospective.
And if you’re after more laughs, a stellar comedy lineup featuring Sammy J, Tommy Little, Ross Noble, Akmal, Dave Thornton, and Geraldine Hickey is sure to keep you entertained.
With such an incredible lineup and a venue that artists and audiences alike love, it’s no wonder Frankston Arts Centre continues to be a top destination for live entertainment. As we mark 30 years, we’re proud to keep bringing you the very best performances, right here in the heart of your community.
