Whistle and Trick is made up of childhood friends Esther and Maddy, who are always ready to sing, dance, and cause a bit of mischief. Having shared the stage back in their goody-goody, high school choir days, this dynamic duo have now reunited and joined forces to bring their newest love of children’s music to life.
As big kids themselves, they love to explore all the wonderful wacky things in life, through a variety of musical styles and instrumentation. Inspired by the thoughtfulness and live instrumentation of the Teeny Tiny Stevies, and the story telling of Dan Sultan’s album “Nali and Friends”, Whistle and Trick bring a sense of play and imagination into their music, along with some of their very own zany characters that join them along the way.
Along with their 6-piece Stumpy Gully Band, Whistle & Trick are coming to the Frankston Arts Centre to launch their debut album ‘Bananas and Other Delicious Things’, being released by ABC Music in June 2023.
This live show will feature all 12 songs off the album and is guaranteed to get your children up and dancing. Whistle and Trick are so excited to share the inner workings of their wild musical brains, with a bit of sparkle and cheekiness thrown in.
