The Big Chill is a film in which survivors of the 1960s ask themselves how they could possibly be in their 30s. Just as survivors of the 90’s ask how could they possibly be still alive in their 50’s. The one thing that all generations have is the soundtrack that accompanied their rush towards the inevitable. It means everything.
Great songs are great songs and no matter how old or young you are these songs are definitely some of the greatest.
The film is about nothingness and in the end nothing much really happens but in between we have the magnificence of the ROLLING STONES, MARVIN GAYE, ARETHA FRANKLIN, JANIS JOPLIN, JAMES BROWN, CREEDENCE and many more.
The songs are the stars and we’ve got stars singing them for you with the wonderful KARISE EDEN and famous GADFLY, MICK MORIARTY accompanied by THE BIG CHILL BAND. WOW!
KARISE EDEN is an amazingly talented singer able to range across many genre’s with ease and with ‘that’ voice, most definitely passion. Her debut single YOU WON’T LET ME entered the charts in the top 5, a feat only equaled by THE BEATLES and they entered at 6! The versatile KARISE composes her own songs and can play guitar, bass and banjo
KARISE is extremely excited by THE BIG CHILL show, as it features many of her greatest inspirations singing their absolute killers!
MICK MORIARTY is a renowned member of THE GADFLY’S, one of Australia’s most popular bands and is currently a member of the comic trio GUD starring PAUL MCDDERMOTT of the DOUG ANTHONY ALLSTARS.
