Ruth Katerelos and Jennifer Vuletic take a spin around some songs made sensational over the decades by the likes of Nina Simone, Judy Garland, Piaf, Billie Holiday, Madeleine Peyroux, Dusty Springfield, Peggy Lee and more.
Goddesses of Jazz are the women who made our spirits soar when they sang. These women made us feel like we could be more than decorative; whose songs drove themselves into our hearts. When we say Jazz, we mean the magic that happens between performers and the audience – the rhythms and polyphonies that come from being together in a room and the improvisation that arises between musicians and is driven by the energy of the room.
Solo, and together, these performers will captivate you with their songs and stories of life, love and connection.
