Event Description

Promac Productions return to our stage with a brand new Daytime Music + Theatre production featuring the hit songs, stories, and indeed laughter that came from World War II and the Vietnam War, performed in front of a backdrop of incredible images on the big screen.

With a stunning cast led by narrator Chris McKenna, star tenor Roy Best, music theatre star Jaz Flowers, international soprano Alison Jones, and Opera Australia’s Caroline Vercore - this moving production will be a highlight of the year.

In the lead up to Anzac Day 2022, join us in the theatre to remember the many great singers who performed during the Wars.

You’ll reminisce the music of Dame Vera Lynn, The Andrew Sisters, Bob Dylan, Normie Rowe, The Saphires and many more. Hear songs such as ‘White cliffs of Dover’, ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’, ‘Chattanooga Choo Choo’, ‘Blowin in the Wind’ and a stirring version of ‘Bring Him Home’ from Les Miserables.

This production is dedicated to the 60th Anniversary of Australia’s first involvement in the Vietnam War, 1962-2022.
