Comedy and Connection workshops for seniors at Frankston Arts Centre

Calling all seniors for Comedy and Connection Series 3! Come and enjoy movement games, improvisation and laughter with this series of movement based theatre workshops.

You are welcome to 'Come and Try' a free session with us on Tuesday 4 October if you would like to see if this workshop series is for you. Please email Cath Hedge at cath.hedge@frankston.vic.gov.au to register your interest.

We are encouraging new participants to register for Series 3 of this popular workshop. If you have participated in a past series of Comedy & Connection and would love to join again, please contact Cath Hedge via the above email address to express interest.

Event Description

Would you like to try something new, meet new people, share some laughs and keep your brain fit?

Register for our 8-week workshop series for only $20 in total!

This series will run as a series of movement based theatre workshops. Get creative with us whilst enjoying movement, games, exercises, improvisation, laughter – and sweet treat at the end.

Comedy and Connection will help you to:

• Keep your brain healthy and flexible (cognitive skills)

• Expand your creativity

• Boost your confidence

• Increase social interaction!

Led by actor and comedian Laura Trenerry and guest artists, these sessions are suitable for all levels of experience and each week concludes with afternoon tea.

Sessions run from 12.30pm to 2.30pm in Cube 37 at the Frankston Arts Centre.

Cost: $20 for the whole 8 weeks (including afternoon tea). Payment plan available.

Participants need to commit to attending the full 8 weeks. Workshops will run on the below dates from 12.30pm-2.30pm:
