Kids aged 7-12 years will enjoy getting up close with local flora from Frankston city, viewing it under the microscope and creating art that based on science.
Award-winning artist Marnes Avila will guide participants to be observe fallen leaves, flowers and other local flora using microscopes, viewfinders and magnifying glasses to see them in a whole new way.
Participants will then be shown how to create their own striking pen and ink drawings, learning a variety of drawing techniques. At the end, they will take home three finished pen and ink drawings that will be ready to frame.
This workshop is suitable for participants aged 7-12 years and suits mini artists of all levels of experience. All materials provided.
