Always wanted to learn to dance the Tango? Join us online from the comfort of your lounge room for our Tango Dance Workshops at Home - presented with the support of Frankston City Council Positive Ageing, Ventana Festival and Tango Esencia.
No partner? No problem!
These classes will mainly focus on an introduction to Tango, a short sequence that you can practice at home with a family member. However, we are mindful that there may not necessarily be a partner to dance with at home during this time, so we will include exercises and steps that a single dancer can practice and enjoy at home too.
Who will this class suit?
All fitness levels are welcome!
People with low or no mobility can participate, but will receive alternative moves to follow the class. Please advise the Frankston Arts Centre Box Office of any access requirements before 12pm on Saturday 16 October on 9784 1060 or email@example.com.
How do I join in?
Click the 'Buy Tickets' button to book your spot. Participants will be sent an email with the online Zoom event link on the day of the workshop. You only need to book once - the same Zoom link can be used for both weeks of classes, but we will re-send the link to you the following week.
Please note that the Zoom class will be locked after 10 minutes, so make sure you are there on time to warm up!
Clear a spot in your house, have some water handy and get ready to have fun with Tango!
How much does it cost?
This online class is a 'pay what you can' event. Ticket options range from $0 to $40, so we encourage you to join in and select whatever ticket option suits your situation.
