Multicultural School Incursions by Ventana, Frankston’s Latin Arts Festival

When:
All year round – when suits you and your school!
Cost: Varies (we can work a budget to accommodate your needs/educational outcomes)
Ventana is an annual celebration of Latin American, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian cultures, people and stories that aims to provide genuine and intimate experiences through music, dance, food, arts, craft, film, sports via educational workshops.
The multicultural workshops stream out of Ventana’s performances, exhibitions and other hands-on activities that you can visit during February and March in the Frankston Arts Centre.

The activities we take to your school or organisation offer engaging and exciting ways for students to learn about a specific culture, indigenous and non-indigenous, traditional-folkloric or contemporary. The school engagements can range from exhibitions of unique cultural value, to assembly presentations and hands-on series of workshops that can engage your entire student body at once.
The workshops can be tailored to your curriculum and student body and can be presented in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian languages. Activities can run during an entire intensive week or spread over a term.  Our workshops are led by artists that truly celebrate diversity and have an extensive knowledge of their cultural area and are hands-on, engaging and fun!
