Nairm Marr Djambana is proud to present an upcoming exhibition that celebrates the wisdom, strength and resilience of our Elders. Through a series of paintings created by our local Aboriginal community members, we honour and pay tribute to the contributions of our Elders in shaping our community and our society.

The exhibition, which is inspired by the 2023 NAIDOC theme "For our Elders," invites visitors to reflect on the significance of intergenerational knowledge sharing and the importance of preserving our cultural heritage for future generations.

Each painting in the exhibition is a powerful testament to the stories, experiences and perspectives of our Elders. From the richness of cultural knowledge to the strength and resilience of our Elders, the paintings showcase the diversity and depth of our community.
