This Time, Last Year is a multidisciplinary art exhibition, a time capsule, celebration and memorial – all rolled into one. Take a step back to this time, last year and explore the creative exploits of our very talented community. Featuring Lisa Atkinson, Jenny Rusby and the wider Frankston Community.

Lisa Atkinson, All Dressed Up, Nowhere to Go
Put on your stilettos and strut in style with Lisa Atkinson, through her series of works, ‘All Dressed Up, Nowhere to Go’. A photographic series capturing the moments of backyard and driveway joy, in dressing up and heading out; in spite of an actual destination.

 Jenny Rusby, The Year We Stayed at Home
‘The Year We Stayed At Home’ is a heartfelt photographic series by Jenny Rusby. The works explore the simple beauty and importance of family and connection, in a time of isolation.

Lockdown Film Competition Screening
Come enjoy a night of short films, created by our community for the 2020 Lockdown Short Film Competition. Entrants were asked to capture the time in our lives where we entered or emerged from shutdown and social isolation; through the medium of film. Places are limited. Onsale date TBA.

The Iso-Lounge
In 2020, we were asked to stay at home… In 2021, we’re asking you to come out, and hang in our Iso-Lounge! A immersive installation the Glass Cube – our living lounge room will be screening Lockdown Film Festival entries, pull up a chair and read our Anthology – you never know who you might meet in the lounge room.

Dust off the doilies, the kids are taking over! In collaboration between the Iso-Lounge and Hot Arts for Cool Kids, the kids are taking over the Lounge Room to make and share their point of view… There’ll be things to make and see, especially for the small ones in your family.
