New Zealand environmental photographer and sculptor Martin Hill presents Solve for Pattern from his highly accomplished Watershed Project that received an international photographic excellence award at the recent Pingyao International Photography Festival - China 2014.
Solve for Pattern is an environmental sculpture made in collaboration with Philippa Jones on Albert Burn Saddle in the Southern Alps, New Zealand.
The circle represents nature and the square represents human culture. Solve for Pattern is a call for Culture to adapt to Nature, to increase balance and harmony and improve the health of the whole system.
The photographs are all that remain of his sculptures
