Art in Dialysis, the second in a series of self-titled exhibitions from local Frankston based artists, showcases works conceived and created in the haemodialysis unit, Frankston Integrated Health, Frankston Hospital. The collective of 10 Art in Dialysis artists, supported by the Frankston Arts Centre and Peninsula Health, celebrates with this exhibition the multi-modal ways of each artist as they each explore their own personal experiences of Art in Dialysis and the world beyond, and influenced by, thrice weekly haemodialysis treatment. Often created with the use of one hand only, and not always the dominant hand, Art in Dialysis is an honest exhibition of painting, mosaic, sculpture and drawing.
