Opened in 1995 by then Prime Minister, the Hon. Paul Keating and designed by renowned Australian architect, Daryl Jackson, the Frankston Arts Centre is one of the largest metropolitan and regional arts venues in Australia. Our world class Theatre seats up to 800 and our facilities include full stage with fly tower and contemporary technical and staging equipment.

The Centre attracts icons of Australian performance including Melbourne Symphony, OzOpera and the Australian Ballet amongst others. Our Theatre capacity and premium facilities also attract large and touring international artists and performers.

Cube 37 is the Frankston Arts Centre's glass fronted creative arts space attracting new media artists and housing wet studio, workshop rooms, digital media suite and exhibition galleries. Cube 37 was completed and opened in 2001 by then Prime Minister, the Hon. John Howard.

The Centre has fully equipped Function Centre which can seat up to 500 and plays host to a range of events including corporate seminars and community expos, gala dinner dances and awards ceremonies.

The Arts Centre has a direct access car park, drop-off zone and a fully licensed bar offering an extensive selection of beverages and bar meals. Fine dining is available in the restaurant from 6pm for all Season performances offering a quality contemporary menu designed by our very own executive chef.
